STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE - C Listed
222 Pakington Street is a two storey building which has a classically derived facade on the upper floor. It is of local significance.
POLICY/RECOMMENDATIONS:
GRPS
Restoration of the front facade of the upper floor would greatly enhance the character of this building as would a more sympathetic verandah and shop front.

Unit - Physical Conditions
DESCRIPTION
The two storey brick building has a gabled roof which is clad in corrugated iron and has a chimney at the southern end. The upper floor is stuccoed and has a classically derived facade. This consist of two double-hung windows with a simple fenestration three pilasters, frieze, a projecting cornice with dentils below and a balustrade parapet above. The verandah and lower floor are recent alterations.
