Statement of Significance
C Listed - Local Significance
A characteristic particularly intact, brick Californian Bungalow, built in 1926. It is architecturally significant as representative of this style, with some elements of interest including the glazing bars. It is historically significant as a representative embodiment of the way of life in 1920s Newtown and its values

DESCRIPTION
A gable-roofed brick, Californian Bungalow , with a terracotta Marseilles tile rook. The gables face, with minor gables projecting at left side rear, and at right, with triple slot vents. The main gable is unrendered brown brick, with an unusual lozenge pattern in dark blue brick. A flat window hood extends across the front on coved brackets, over two triple windows, the left one as a shallow canted bay. There is interesting diamond pattern leadlight, with triangular glazing bars to upper sashes, extending to the lower sash. (The porch at left is obscured. There are pergolas over both pedestrian and vehicular entrances, with a (?) berry hedge. There are various mature trees in the garden, including and Eucalypt in front and a (?) Spruce.
