Statement of Significance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A brick Edwardian house built in 1912. It is architecturally significant locally as characteristic of this domestic style and historically in embodying life in Newtown just before the Great War.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
A doublefronted red brick Edwardian house with a slate hipped roof. This has unglazed terracotta chimney pots, cresting and finials. The right bay projects as a gable, its upper section jettys, roughcast and timbered. At the side are skillion windowhoods on fretwork brackets. The hipped verandah is under the roofin the angle. It has a palisade valance over a rail, which is catenary curved over the entrance, with ogee arched fretwork brackets. The entrance is in the angle, with one side and fanlight and a fourpanelled door.
