Residence - Physical Description 1
A generally symmetrical double-fronted timber Californian Bungalow, with a broad major gable across. An even wider gable projects at front over the verandah to full width. This is supported on pairs of purlins near the ridge. The upper section is roughcast, with a rectangular louvred vert with its own small hood on coved brackets, with shingles below, splaying at their base and three block brackets.
The ransom curves down (?) over triple square columns with plate capitals, over a rendered balustrade. Windows are tripartite Chicago-type and doors are double. Chimneys at left, are expressed, roughcast plain. At right is a flat-roofed solarium. The fence of thick and thick and think horizontal boards has mild steel gates.
