STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A characteristic timber Californian Bungalow built between 1924/25. It is architecturally significant locally as representative of this domestic style and historically in embodying inter-war life in Newtown.

DESCRIPTION
A double-fronted timber Californian Bungalow with a major gable facing Skene Street. Minor gables face Skene Street at the at the angle and Geroge Street at rear, with a flat roofed porch in the angle, facing George Street at rear, with a flat roofed porch in the angle, facing George Street at rear, with a flat roofed porch in the angle, facing George Street. This has plain triple posts on plate- topped piers. Upper gables have palisade vents over shingles over four bull-nosed brackets. Windows are tripartite, with leadlight upper sashes and an arched centre rail. They have flatr hoods on a wavy fretwork brackets. The entrance has a leadlight panel door, sidelights and a pressed copper nameplate. The site incorporates the adjoining block.
