STATEMENT OF SIGNFICANCE
A characteristic timber Edwardian house built in 1911. It is architecturally significant as representative of this domestic style and historically as embodying life in Newtown early this century.

Residence - Physical Description 1
A triplefronted timber Edwardian house with a highhipped roof Gables are set forward at right and left side rear. Upper gables are timbered . roughcast with bellies in an ogee curve, supported on ogee fretwork brackets. Barge ends . are shaped. They have hipped rippleiron windowhoods.on large fretwork convex brackets with tulip motifs. Windows are double. The verandah extends around the angle under the hip, slightly breakpitch, with two deep arches and a palisade over a rail valance. This has decorative fretwork panels oftulip pairs. Brackets are decorative fretwork. Chimneys are rendered with a brown brick frieze and unglazed terracotta pots. .
