C Listed - Local Significance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE:
A brick Edwardian house built in 1914. It has architectural significance locally as a relatively complex representative of this domestic style and historical significance in embodying the comfortable life of a manager's family in Newtown immediately prior to the Great War.
INTACTNESS: Good. The fence, and colorbond roofing are not appriate;

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION:
A triple-fronted red brick Edwardian house with a high hipped roof left side rear and right bays are set forward as gables. Upper gables are clad and jetty on deep fretwork ogee brackets. Below are canted bay windows with a hipped hood of ripple iron on deep coved fretwork brackets. Rafters are expressed. Chimneys have render friezes and mouldings with terracotta unglazed pots. The verandah returns around the angle under the hip. At the angle is an octagonal bay window. Most windows have rectilinear leadlight panes At the right side is a step, with a comer window mid another hood, returning. At rear is a Queen palm (Arecastrum).
