C Listed - Local Signficance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A relatively simple but particularly intact timber Californian Bungalow built in 1923. It is architecturally significant locally as representing an unpretentious variant of this domestic style and for its pictorial window. It is historically significant in embodying life in Newtown in the mid 1920's.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION:
A double-fronted timber Californinan Bungalow with gable roofs. The left bay is set forward with a canted bay window, with a low pitched ripple-iron roof. Gables are timbered and upper sections jetty on double and triple bull-nosed brackets. The L-Shaped verandah is in the angle and then the entrance hall, which has a diamond-shaped pictorial leadlight window, which depicts a water bird.
