Residence - Physical Description 1
The single storey timber building is clad in weatherboards and the double gable roof which traverses the site is clad in corrugated iron. There is a brick chimney at the east end of the front gable. A second brick chimney projects form the centre of the rear gable and a third chimney is built on the south side of the rear skillion. This chimney is an unusual construction with large block bricks used for the upper section and a chimney pot on top. The front gable has decorative barge boards and the front windows have decorative wood mouldings below the sill. The front porch and window hoods are later additions. The rear gable and skillion may have been built in the mid 1850's and the front gable at some time after 1869.
