STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
11 Spring Street is a typical, modest timber cottage of the 1850's on Geelong West and a rare survivor in the former Little Scotland area it is of local significance.
POLICY AND RECOMMENDATIONS: GRPS
More appropriate window and door joiner would greatly enhance the character of this building as would more appropriate paint colours and verandah decorations

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
The single storey timber building is clad in weatherboards and sited close to the boundaries of the small block. The ridge of the double Gables traverse the block and are clad in corrugated iron. The front elevation is symmetrical with a convex verandah extending from one end to the other. Either side of the central doorway is a double-hung window. The cast-iron lace on the verandah is a later addition. There is a chimney at the rear.
