STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE:
Although it is a relatively common design in Ballarat and possibly other towns it is very unusual in Geelong West. It is of local significance.
POLICY AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
GRPS
Reinstatement of the wooden finials and removal of the paint from the chimneys would greatly enhance this building as would a more appropriate fence.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION:
The design is asymmetrical and there is a main gable traversing the site and a projecting gable on the east side of this. A bull-nosed verandah with return, covers the main entrance. Decorative elements include cast iron lace and turned wood verandah posts, and there were finials at the apex of the gable ends. The front door has two small side lights either side of it.
