This house was built by my grand father who was a builder - Francis (Frank) Collins Fanning, he built it around 1927, sadly he died there suddenly in 1932, the family retained the house but moved to another house they owned in Essendon. My grand mother Ida Teresa Fanning nee Mackey moved back to the house in around 1942, the family sold it in the early 1950's. My parents were living there when I was born in 1949, I lived there until 1952. Teresa M Fairbairn nee Fanning
