Statement of Significance

Stable/Workshop - Physical Description 1
Of a small scale and of slop-moulded brickwork, the workshop and loft appearance fits that of an 1850s building. Openings and clearances are small and the roof pitched and clad with zinc tiles.
Adjoining the workshop is a large former yard which probably complemented the building's function (materials storage?).
External Integrity
Bricks painted and probable detail changes but given its age and use, the building is unusually complete.
Streetscape
Visible from the street, the workshop's streetscape impact apparent but is secondary to that of the later house, itself a contributor to precinct 8.11.
