Residence - Physical Description 1
This residence is elevated as it extends out from the steep embankment on the north side of Heidelberg-Kinglake Road. A major feature of the building is the scalloped vertical timber strapping between the posts of the underside of the residence. The early conifer plantings at the front of the property supports the assumption that this was the earlier of the two houses.
The residence is timber framed with weatherboard cladding. It has a main hipped roof clad in corrugated metal sheet. There is a skillion roofed verandah across the elevation of the house that faces Heidelberg-Kinglake Road and returns to the north side of the residence.
