Stained Glass Window at Wallen Wallen St. Mark's Anglican Church - Memorial Window Description & History
In September 1920 the Anglican paper, the Church of England Messenger, reported the granting of a Faculty for a stained glass window 'in memory of the fallen in the Great War 1914-1918', however the window was not unveiled until July the following year. The Church of St. Mark operated from 1870 and from 1937 services were conducted the incumbents of Christ Church Anglican at Whittlesea until the building was destroyed by fire in 1960.
