The asymmetrical facade is constructed of red brick walling with stucco sections and features a hip roof with projecting gables. Unusual details includes a semi-circular entrance element on the corner, half timbered effect in the gables with Art Nouveau curvilinear pieces, a balcony on the north facade with timber Doric columns, and segmental arched and label moulds above the ground floor openings. The hotel has an assortment of windows, and a rendered horizontal band with lettering which wraps around the middle of the double storey section and crowns the single storey at the rear. A new window has been added in the west facade that is not appropriate to the style of the building.
