FORMER DANIEL O'CONNELL HOTEL SITE - History
License to Martin Tracy in 1847. In 1852, the hotel (licensed to W. Leighy) consisted of twelve rooms and a six stall stable. A sign on the building says it was the site of the first Freemason meeting in 1848.Heritage Inventory Description
