Statement of Significant
75 Sydney Parade has architectural significance at a local level. The building is a representative example of brick Inter-war housing, once common in the Geelong region. The building retains its characteristic siting, form and unusual brick details . It has historical associations with Francis McHugh who occupied the building from 1936 until 1972.

Residence - Physical Description 1
Description
75 Sydney Parade is a substantially intact InterWar brick residence. The building is asymmetrical and has a large hip roof clad in terracotta tiles with a projecting gable at the front of the house. The facade features a faceted bay with double hung casement windows with lead light glazing, and bichromatic brickwork. The central entrance porch displays this decorative tapestry brickwork. The brick fence at the front of the residence appears to be the original, however, the iron railings fixed to the bricks are a later addition. A brick chimney protrudes from the roof.
