STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A characteristic symmetrical timber Italianate house built in 1891. It is architecturally significant locally as representative of the Italianate style and historically significant asa representative embodiment of the way of life in Edwardian Newtown.

Residence - Physical Description 1
A symmetrical double-fronted timber Italianate house with a hip-roof. Chimneys have deep rendered Classical mouldings and eaves have pendant spindle bracket pairs between panels as the frieze. Teh verandah is a bull nosed hip acress the front on timber posts with a fine cast-iron lace valence and brackets. The four panelled door has side fan lights.
