The timber cottage at 74 Waterloo Road, Northcote, built either in 1885 or 1886 for the labourer, William Harvey, who also built the house alongside, since demolished.
How is it significant?
The timber cottage at 74 Waterloo Road, Northcote is aesthetically significant to Darebin City.
Why is it significant?
It is aesthetically significant (Criterion E) as a substantially intact example its type, the timber construction and symmetrical gable roofed form being characteristic of workers' accommodation of the period..
