Statement of Significance
This intact station building is an important one of a group of Victorian Railway Stations on the Brighton Beach line. Of particular note is standard boom style veranda which extends around both ends of the building.
The Prahran Railway Station is substiantially intact and only minor works have been undertaken. The station has recently had minor repainting in appropriate paint colours.
