Statement of Significance
The front garden is of state significance as an intact and rare symmetrical geometric layout, with clipped box hedge-edged flower gardens. It is one of the best and largest of the few examples that survive of this once common garden type.
The house is of local historical and architectural significance for its intact conservative classical style and for its association with local settler orchardist, Mr Winter.
