Statement of Significance
A very well preserved, cohesive and symmetrical brick and bluestone row of six two storey terraced houses which share similar architectural details and matching cast iron balustrading etc.
They were designed by the Architects Austin and Ellis for Robert Hepburn and built in stages between 1855 and 1872.
Numbers 199-201 were built in 1855. In 1867 there were alterations and additions and number 203 was erected. Numbers 205, 207 and 209 were added in 1872. The bluestone topped dividing garden walls, the bluestone gateposts along with the gates, railing and plinths are all included.
