'F' Block was erected in 1860 as the ordnance store for the complex. Built of rock faced basalt with fine axed dressings, it is regularly fenestrated with Georgian casement sashes to match the adjacent 'C' block. The design of the building was conceived by the Public Works Department. Since WW1 - the building has served as an adminsitrative centre. Externally intact, the building is notable for its austere and distinctive Georgian details and proportions.
