Statement of Significance
This sandstone building was designed about 1886 by George Jobbins as stables for the owner William Cust and was occupied by John Latta. Known as McConnell's stables since about 1918 when Joseph McConnell was the livery stable keeper. There have been various alterations particularly to the lower front facade where the sandstone has been rendered over.
