A tree of a species or vareity that is rare or of very localised distirbution.
A native of North America, this fine specimen makes a valuable contribution to the plantings in this historic garden. The tree is bifurcated at 12.5 metres. Rare in cultivation in Victoria, other examples of the species are known atAlton, Mt Macedon, and Emerald Lake above the carpark.
This tree is located west of the residence between the driveway and Pittosporum hedge.
