Statement of Significance
Rare or localised
This is a stand of approximately 400 trees, both juvenile and mature,and is the only known occurrence of this species in Victoria. It appears to be isolated pocket in midst of forest of Mt Grey Gum, Shining Gum, Red Box, Silvertop, White Stringybark.
Corymbia maculata normally occurs along coastal and subcoastal New South Wales from Manning River valley south to Bega
