Contribution to the landscape of historic garden
Outstanding size
These seven fine specimens of Bunya Bunya Pine are located throughout the gardens which were laid out in 1875 by Richard Jenkyns. Some trees in the garden are thought to have been a gift from Baron von Mueller, Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Araucaria bidwillii is found naturally in south-east with two small disjunct populations in north eastern Queensland
