Horticultural Value
Historic garden or park
A female form of this unusual gymnosperm. This is a particularly heavy fruiting form and regularly produces large numbers of 'ginkgo nuts'. The tree has a spreading crown and branches low to the ground, unlike the large tree in the Geelong Botanic Gardens. This tree is a valuable source of seed for propagation.
Located at Fenwick Street end of central path on East side
