Aesthetic significance

This is a fine large specimen in good condition with long extended branches and a full canopy
Tree protection and improvement works are recommended.
A commemorative plaque is situated at the base ofthe tree dedicated to Irene Mitchell, MBE, who helped start the original theatre company at St Martins.
