Statement of Significance
Constructed in 1926 as the Kardella South Public Hall. Moved to Coal Creek in 1985 and renamed as the 'Coal Creek Mechanics' Institute'.
Typical weatherboard gabled building with a projecting gabled porch at one end, and skillion supper room at the other. Tall multi-pane windows in the side elevations.
