Statement of Significance
The Victorian vernacular style of the house at 11 Inglewood Road suggests that it was constructed in the second half of the 19th century.
The house at 11 Inglewood Road is historically and architecturally significant at a LOCAL level. It is associated with residential developments in St. Arnaud in the second half of the 19th century. The house also demonstrates original design qualities of a Victorian vernacular style. These qualities include the single storey height, the hipped roof form and the return bull nosed verandah. Other intact or appropriate qualities include the rendered mud brick (the front section) and horizontal weatherboard (the rear section) wall construction, the corrugated roof cladding, the partly unpainted brick chimneys, the timber framed double hung windows symmetrically arranged about a central doorway (on the main facade), and the square timber verandah columns.

House, 11 Inglewood Road, ST ARNAUD - Physical Description 1
The house at 11 Inglewood Street is situated on a corner block with the house located at a moderate to deep setback from the front boundary. The front boundary fence is of timber posts and chainwire with pipe cappings. The house has a hipped M form roof clad in corrugated steel and has narrow eaves. The house has two external face brick chimneys on one side which have been painted to eaves height. The chimneys has two bands of corbelled bricks as decoration. The house has a bull nosed return verandah with an introduced concrete floor. The posts are plain square timber and there is no verandah decoration. The walls are of render mud brick. There is a skillion addition at the rear which is clad in square edged weatherboards. The street facade has a central doorway with timber framed double hung windows with rendered or stone sills.
