BARWON RIVER 1 - Heritage Inventory Description
Undressed bluestone (rectangular in shape) two or three courses high. Much of the site is covered and only portions are exposed. Two parallel lines of bluestone approx 5 metres apart extending for up to 23 metres, running parallel with the Barwon River.
EACH BLUESTONE BETWEEN 40 AND 70 CM LONG AND 30-50 CM WIDE. STONES ARE UNDRESSED. LINE OF BLUESTONES CURVES AND HEADS NE. UP TO 2 OR 3 COURSES SLOPING ARE VISIBLE. SCATTERS OF HANDMADE BRINCKS, STONEWARE, GLASS, MUSSEL SHELLS.
