60 Wattle Road - Physical Description 1
A single storey, flat front villa, executed in render with a hipped slate roof and a cast iron verandah. The principle facade is almost symmetrical. A central front door is flanked by two tall windows on each side. The verandah has a return end stop atone side, but at the other end returns to abut a small projection to the main house. This form is reflected in the bluestone base course to the verandah and is clearly part of the original design. Splayed entrance steps in front of the door break the plinth. The verandah incorporates a balustrade (panels missing) and a "straight" within a timber valence frame. Unusual render detailing is used over each window.
