C Listed - Local Signficance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A characteristic and relatively intact Californian Bungalow built in 1922. It is architecturally significant locally as a representative design in the Bungalow style. It is historically significant locally as a representative embodiment of the way of life in Newtown between the wars.
INTACTNESS: Excellent. The high timber fence is not appropriate
CONDITIONS & THREATS: Excellent. Traffic vibration & noise

Residence - Physical Description 1
A broad front facing, gableroofed, timber Californian Bungalow, with an unglazed Marseille terracotta tiled roof There is a minor gable front facing at left and the left side rear bay projects as a gable also, with a hip extension to the main roof in the angle, as a verandah. This has fretwork brackets. Upper gables have timber strapwork over shingles, on ogee bracket pairs. The gables have a rectangular bay window with flat roofs.
