Geelong North War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Geelong North War Memorial, on Swinburne Street, comprises of a small, mounted black pillar. A black wall with plaques stands behind the pillar as well as two flagpoles. The site was unveiled by CR. Neville Lewis on Ocotber 11th 1992, to commemorate the service and sacrifice of men and women of the Shire of Corio who served in the Second World War, Malaya, Korea, Borneo and Vietnam.
