Hamilton WWI Memorial Plaque - Veterans Description for Public
The First World War Plaque on Clarke Street, Hamilton is dedicated to 26 men from Clarke Street who enlisted, representing the highest enlistment/resident ratio in Australia. A memorial avenue was planted along Clarke Street on 24th August 1918. The plaque was laid on Armistice Day 1987.
