C Listed - Local Significance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A timber Edwardian house built in 1910. It is architecturally significant locally as characteristic of this domestic style and historically significant as physical evidence of family life in Newtown before the Great War.
INTACTNESS
Very good. The high fence is not appropriate.
CONDITION
Very good. The verandah floor is concrete at ground level diminishing sub-floor ventilation. The roof needs maintenance.

Residence - Physical Description 1
a hip-roofed, double fronted timber Edwardian house. It has the left bay set forward with a canted bay window under a gable supported on large decorative ogee brackets. The window has a six paned upper sash, with leadlight over and a shingled hip-roof. Rafters are expressed, chimneys are large with corbelled caps and render-panels. The verandah is in the angle, with a turned spindle palisade valance, with stocky turned Doric posts and decorative ogee brackets. At left is an unusual infilled section, with large round-head leadlight windows.
