Statement of Significance
C Listed - Local Significance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A timber 1930s villa built in 1934. It is architecturally significant locally as characteristic of this Inter-war Villa style, with some Art Deco elements and historically significant evidence of family life in Newtown before World War II.
INTACTNESS
Generally, very good. Vehicular gates are anachronistic and the high timber fence is later and not appropriate. The carport in front is recent and not appropriate either.
CONDITION
Excellent.
