Statement of Significance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A timber Edwardian house built in 1915 formerly known as Myola with some Chinoiserie decorative elements. It is architectually significant locally as characteristic of its type and historically as physical evidence of middle-class life in Newtown.

Description
A triple-fronted timber Edwardian house. The left bay is set forward as a gable. The verandah is in the angle and returns at right under the hip. The upper gable is timbered, with a rectangular bay window. Windows are casement pairs with highlights. The verandah has rectangular Chinoiserie including its valance with double ogee panels over a rail with barge brackets. It has barge brackets and turned timber verandah posts.
