Statement of Significance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A complex small timber Edwardian house built in 1912. It is architecturally significant locally, despite intrusive alteration, as representative of Edwardian domestic style and historically as embodying unpretentious family life in Newtown just before the Great War.

Residence - Physical Description 1
Asmall timber hiproofed, triple-fronted Edwardian house. . The complex roof steps forward as a minor hip, then again as a central gable. The upper gable jettys with ripple-iron cladding and double-ogee fretwork barges, then an ogee reduces over the skillion windowhood. This has a ripple-iron roofing supported on lattice and decorative fretwork brackets. At left in the angle is a verandah. The entrance in the verandah faces, with side and fanlights. Rafters are exposed and the chimneys are brown brick with corbelled tops.
