STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE
A characteristic timber late Victorian house with some unusual elements built in 1892. It is architecturally significant as an unusual variant on this domestic style and historically in embodying comfortable family life of a skilled craftsman in Newtown immediately prior to the economic crash of 1892.
INTACTNESS: Good. Fench doors replace the left window, and there are carport and other additions at left and rear. The high fences and the colour schemes are not appropriate.

DESCRIPTION
An unusual double-fronted timber late Victorian hipped roof house. The right bay is set forward as a gable. In the angle and (Unusually) the right side are hipped roof verandah, with cast-iron lace and brackets with abstracted Doric timber posts. The gable had an unusual parapet canted bay window with frieze and cornice moulds. The right verandah terminates in a stall board and latticed screen. The chimney has a frieze and cap in plain brick.
