STATEMENT OF SIGNFICANCE
32 Hope Street is a conservative style of building for the period of construction, circa 1885. It is of local significance.

"Sovilla"/Sisville" - Physical Description 1
The single storey timber hosue is clad in weatherboards and the concave verandah and hipped roof are clad in corrugated iron. There is a central front door and a double-hung window on either side. There is a polychrome brick chimney towards the west side of the house and surmounting the chimney is a delightful clay chimney pot. The overall style of the building is conservative for its date of construction as is the decorative cast iron lace valance on the verandah.
