Statement of Significance
A Listed - State Significance
'Lunan' is significant for its strong association with the Strachan family in Geelong's early development. It is an early example of the use of Barrabool freestone ashlar cladding. This substantial mansion is a notable and relatively intact work of architect Charles Laing and it is a prominent landmark in Drumcondra. It is of state Significance.
