Statement of Significance
LOCAL SIGNIFICANCE - INCLUDED IN HERITAGE PRECINCT
Built in circa 1856, 27 O'Connell Street is one of the few two room buildings to survive from the 1850's. It is of local significance.
POLICY/RECOMMENDATIONS:
GRPS
Removal of the window and door hoods and replacement with a more sympathetic design would greatly enhance the character of the Building as would the reinstatement of wooden weatherboards

"Glenomra" - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
The single storey timber building in clad in aluminum weatherboards and the gable roof which traverses the site is clad in corrugated iron. The building is set close to the front door and a double-hung window on either side. The window and door hoods a later addition.
