Christ Anglican Church Hall - Physical Description 1
This simple double gabled brick hall was constructed in 1868. It is a simple early English Gothic structure with paired lancet windows with hood moulds and simple stepped buttresses. The stone dressings have been painted. The hall is in good condition with an intact slate roof (the finials have been removed) and unpainted brickwork. An early photo of c.1920 shows the hall with a picket fence; more appropriate than the present metal railing fence.
This hall is of local importance and interest. It forms an important streetscape component to this important precinct.Christ Anglican Church Hall - Integrity
