Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
The Late Victorian home is single storey and clad in weatherboards. The hipped roof and convex verandah are clad in corrugated iron. It is a well balanced though rather restrained design which exhibits elements from the Victorian and Late Victorian periods . Typical characteristicsof the former period are the polychrome brick chimneys, the plain windows, verandah and balustrade decoration, and the eaves brackets. Examples of the more ornate Late Victorian elements are the asymmetrical design, the bay window, and the return verandah.
