Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION ,The single storey timber building is clad in weatherboards and the hipped roof and convex verandah is clad in corrugated iron. It is an unusual design which more closely resembles the Late Victorian architecture of the previous decade than the trends apparent at this time. The form of the building, including the projecting room, the low hipped roof and the convex verandah are all derived from the Late Victorian period, as are the style of eaves brackets. However the paired windows with window hoods, the himney design and above all the tower and its window are elements more typical of the Edwardian period.
