C Listed - Local Significance
STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE:
7 Yuille Street appears to have been built in 1854 and is one of only a few timber houses of this style left in Geelong West. It is of local significance.
POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS:
GRPS
A more appropriate fence would greatly enhance the character of this building as would more appropriate verandah details and window joinery.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION:
Set close to the street, it is a single storey timber building clad in weatherboard. The double gable roof and convex verandah are clad in corrugated iron. It is asymmetrical design with two gable-ends forming the front elevation. In the centre of the gable-ends is a double hung window and the entrance door in between these. The verandah appears to have been added about 1859. On the east side there appears to be a window with original joinery. The only decorative elements are the two matching turned wood finials at the apex of the gables.
