It has historical associations with Robert Low, the owner of a series of residences in Maud Street. Further historical research is required.

Residence - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
This early Victorian double fronted cottage has a symmetrical facade constructed of English Bond brickwork, and a simple slate M shaped roof with a skillion at the rear. The house sits above the street level and has a small front garden. The recent concrete block fence and the front door are later additions which detract from the overall appearance. The corrugated iron concave verandah with simple timber posts, fence a delicate iron fringe, are appropriate to the style. Typical sash windows with fine mullions and small paned in the upper half are positioned on either side of the entrance
